摘要:
GPON与EPON是两种不同的PON技术.在两种技术的演进过程中,业界对这两种技术特点和应用一直有着不同的认识.尤其是近些年来一些通信网运营商的一系列重要发展决定,给业界认识上带来了很大争论.通过对两种技术及其演进技术的比较,同时重点对EPON的演进技术10 G EPON进行了分析,得出10 G EPON与10 G GPON技术共存是接入网近几年内主要应用模式.最后预测今后接入网的主导技术是×G EPON.
Abstract:
GPON and EPON are two different kinds of PON technology. In the evolution of the two technologies, there exist different opinions about their technical features and application. Especially in recent years, a series of important development decision of some communication network operating companies, brought about a lot of disputes within the industry. Through the comparison of the two technologies and their evolution, this paper focused in analyzing 10 G EPON technologies, and found that the coexistence of GPON and EPON technology is the main internet accessing pattern in the next few years. We predicted the dominant technology is XG EPON in the future access network.
