摘要:
莎士比亚的经典悲剧《麦克白》自问世以来,“麦克白夫人”的争论就不绝于耳。她恶名远播,更有甚者,“麦克白夫人”已成为一专有名词,与“邪恶”“野心”“虚伪”等词同义。近年来,偶有为麦克白夫人申辩之声——她并非一个十足的魔鬼。笔者通过精读《麦克白》全剧,挖掘推敲文中隐实,解析“麦克白夫人”魔鬼化过程并非其天性所驱,即本性非恶,她只是蒙上了一块邪恶的面纱,而面纱之后,才是她的“本真”。本文从“决心行凶”“事实行凶”“罪后忧惧”来剖析其心理变化过程,一步一步揭下她的面纱,进而揭示她的“本真自我”并非魔鬼,而是如普通女子一样的脆弱,柔软。
Abstract:
Shakespeare's Lady Macbeth has attracted a heated debate and enjoyed a notorious reputation since the birth of his tragedy Macbeth,what's more, "lady Macbeth" has seemingly been a synonym of "evil" "ambition""hypocrisy". However, recently there have arisen many varied interpretations of Lady Macbeth, among which she is not considered that demonic any more. This essay will be one of those papers which defend her against deeply-rooted prejudices. After careful reading of the script Macbeth, some deeply hidden facts would be excavated out to prove that Lady Macbeth always wears a evil mask serving to advance her husband behind which lies the real herself. Chronically, her inner self will be revealed in terms of three steps of her crime, the resolution to act, actual performance, and consequential depression in which way we will see an image of Lady Macbeth as a normal woman: frail and tender.
