摘要:
基于1998-2018年世界杯66个国际足联成员192支球队的非平衡面板数据,检验了主教练特征与球队表现的关系.研究发现:主教练执教经历时长越久,会对球队世界杯表现产生负向影响,也无助于提升球队国际排名; 主教练对国家队越熟悉越有利于球队的世界杯表现,也越有利于成绩的提升; 主教练的名气与球队表现及成绩提升呈正相关关系.本研究为国家队选聘主教练带来一定的启示.
Abstract:
Based on the unbalanced panel data of 66 teams in the World Cup from 1998 to 2018, the relationship between head coach characteristics and team performance was examined. This study found that the longer the coach coaching experience has had a negative impact on the team's World Cup performance, and it does not help to improve the team's international rankings; the more familiar the head coach is to the national team, the better the team's World Cup performance, and the better the results. The promotion of the head coach is positively related to the performance of the team and the improvement of the performance. This study brings some inspiration to the selection of the head coach of the national team.
